Isles Defeat Devils, Roster Cuts

-The Isles defeated the Devils last night at the Coliseum, 2-1. Comeau and Bailey had the goals
-No sense in telling you the Isles lost to the Devils Friday, and lost to Montreal.. ready? 7-2.


The Islanders have released the following players from training camp, along with the five camp invites.

The Isles play their season opener at home, Saturday against the Dallas Stars. This time it will be on T.V. Still some more cuts will be made this week, as they need to be down to 23 players on their roster by Wednesday. They will have practice everyday this week up until the game Saturday, giving the final roster to get some practice in.
