Isles Come Back In The Second, But Pens Rally In OT

The Pens scored two goals in the second, but the Isles came back with Bailey going to his backhand from a nice pass off of Comeau, and Martinek with a wrist shot past Johnsen. The Islanders had many chances in the game,  but couldn't capitalize on them.

A few notes from the game:

Matt Cooke not only once, but twice, messed with DiPietro tonight. It first started off by him pushing DiPietro's own teammate, Parenteau, on top of DP. Then, after coming out of the box, he "fell" on top of DiPietro. It looked to not of been an "accident". DiPietro was down for awhile, but came back up to finish off the game.

Great to see Bailey getting another goal, as he had one against the Rangers. Him and Comeau seem to have great chemistry. Monday, Bailey set Comeau up from a spin o rama pass and Comeau fired it home. Tonight, Comeau passed it to Bailey and Bailey went to his backhand to light the lamp.

Also, as Butch Goring states, I as well don't get the penalty to Jurcina. It was just a bad call by the refs, therefore, the Penguins scoring a powerplay goal in OT.

Tomorrow, the Isles will face the Colorado Avalanche at the Coliseum. I would expect to see Roloson make his second start as DiPietro was a little shaken up tonight. The Isles need to watch out for the Avs goaltender Craig Anderson as he played well against the Devils tonight to get the win.
