Isles Loose In Shootout, Final Score 5-4

Few notes from the home opener tonight.

-Parenteau looked very sharp tonight, even delivering a few hits
-John Tavares left the game with a mild concussion, and he will be evaluated Monday.
-Wisniewski, Weight, Comeau and Moulson each had a goal for the Isles tonight
-The Isles played pretty physical tonight, even a few hits by Blake Comeau. Wisniewski drilled a Star right infront of the Isles bench, and he goes off the ice injured.

The game ended in a shootout. Neilsen was denied, Parenteau hit the post, and Moulson couldn't pull one off. DP looked pretty sharp in the shootout, as he did tonight. We got to give the guy credit, he hasn't played an NHL game in a few months.

The Isles will take on the Rangers Monday at the Coliseum at 1pm. It's a matinee game. I would expect DP to get the start again, as the Isles said he's the number one goaltender, but it all depends on how he feels after the game.

Also, if Tavares is out for a long period of time, it's time to trade.
