Losing Streak Continutes To 13; Howie Rose Feels Us

Yup. It continues to 13, as expected. But you got to hand it to DiPietro who hasn't played in 18 days and makes a great return. He stopped 33 out of 35 shots and kept the Isles in the game, but they failed to score more than one goal.

Nielsen threw a shot to the net and Grabner banged it in for the Isles only goal. Something really needs to be done with the offence. It's unacceptable. No more losing. We can't take it. I was talking to a classmate today, who's Dad used to be the Islanders equipment manager and the Isles were brought up. I said "I can't believe the Isles lost again". He replies "Oh did they? My Dad doesn't let me watch them. He hates that organization now. You don't even want to know the inside scoop". Well I found out the "inside scoop" and trust me you don't want to know.

The main concern last night was Mike Mottau. He was hit in the right eye with the puck and he fell to the ice gushing blood. He was able to skate and walk to an ambulance on his own, but he's still in Atlanta waiting to see a specialist according to Katie Strang. He also has swelling around the eye, as you can expect.

Well we know for sure Howie Rose feels us. When he thought MSG Plus went to commercial break, they had some technical difficulties. On air, he said "Is it spring training yet" and "Hey let me know how this game turns out, not that I care". Oops. You can't blame him!
