COLUMBUS 4, ISLANDERS 3: Isles Earn Point

I have to say the Isles did play a little better tonight, actually scoring three goals. Goals for the Isles were from Hunter after Gillies got the team going with a fight, Grabner and Tavares in his 100th NHL game. Hunter left the game late in the game after hurting himself on a check. He isn't in practice this morning. Uh oh...

This is what the Isles need in their lineup: Gillies and his physical play.

DiPietro played solid as he did the game before in Atlanta. He made a nice save on Nash last night on a breakaway. He just needs more help from the defense. With Mottau, Jurcina, Hillen and Macdonald sidelined, it's hard for this team.

Hillen was practicing this morning, so that's a good sign. We'll probably see him Friday against the Devs. According to Katie Strang, Zenon Konopka wasn't at practice.

You can tell the frustrations are among the Isles locker room and not just the fans.Grabner's one of them frustrated as you can tell from what he posted last night after the defeat on his Twitter account:

"Same sh*t different day...we gotta get a win...like what the f***...at least we got a point."

For a guy that has two goals in two games, you can't blame him. Certainly can't...The big question now is: Will it go to 15? The Devs are hot after scoring 5 goals in one game on the Capitals, who are known to be one of the best teams in the league.
