-Kabanov was late AGAIN to practice

-Nino signed his entry level contract yesterday (3 years). It appears he will play the first 9 games with the Isles, then a decision will be made for him to stay or go back to his old team. Kinda like what the Isles did with Bailey, and Bailey stayed.
-DP will wear those blue pads during the season as I asked the Islanders Official Twitter Account
-Islanders and Devils could be talking about trade
-Konopka skated today and made his training camp debut
-Christian Arnold of Islanders Hockey Blog interviews Kyle Okposo Sunday about being a possible captain in the future and his reply is "There's been some talk, but right now, Dougie's (Weight) our captain". Great to hear from Okposo as he doesn't just care about himself.
