Training Camp: Day 2 Quick Hits

Note: I am not at training camp, I'm getting the information from reporters at Ice Works... Give full  credit to them...

Here are a few quick hits to start Day 2 of Training Camp off...


Group 1
-The players took the ice today, yesterday they were testing
-It appears no one has accepted the Islanders camp invites, but someone could still always show up
-Rick DiPietro was wearing new blue pads, as he said every year he likes to change around his equipment a bit
-Andy Hilbert left early with a mild groin strain
-Isles writer Dee Karl says Tavares gained some weight. That's a good thing, right?
-Per the Isles website,When Nino was asked how his first session was, he smiled and answered "Good".
-Nino's agent is also there as well
-Parenteau seems to be adjusting very well, knowing a good amount of guys on the Isles, and some newly signed guys.
-Rob Figren, Mark Eaton and Zenon Konopka did not attend training camp today due to minor injuries
